We understand that business needs change. This Cancellation Policy sets out the process and terms for ending a marketing engagement with S.V Marketing Private Limited. We ask that all cancellations be handled in accordance with this policy to ensure a smooth transition and fair treatment for both parties.
For ongoing retainer engagements, a minimum of 30 days' written notice is required to cancel. Notice must be provided in writing to info@svmarketing.site and will take effect from the date it is received. You will be liable for all fees incurred during the notice period.
For defined project engagements, cancellation terms are set out in the client services agreement. In general, you may cancel a project at any time by providing written notice, and you will be invoiced for all work completed to the date of cancellation.
In exceptional circumstances, immediate cancellation may be agreed without the standard notice period. In such cases, a cancellation fee equivalent to one month's retainer fee (for retainer engagements) or 25% of the remaining project value (for project engagements) may apply.
We reserve the right to cancel an engagement in the following circumstances:
Where we cancel due to client breach, no refund of fees already paid will be issued. Where we cancel due to our own inability to deliver, we will provide a pro-rata refund of any advance payments for undelivered services.
Upon cancellation, we will provide a structured handover to ensure continuity of your marketing activities. This includes transferring access to all accounts, platforms, and assets managed on your behalf, providing documentation of active campaigns and their current status, and a final performance report covering the engagement period. The handover process will be completed within 14 days of the cancellation effective date.
All outstanding invoices must be settled before the handover process is completed. We reserve the right to withhold access to accounts and assets until all outstanding amounts have been paid.
Following cancellation, both parties' confidentiality obligations continue for the period specified in the client services agreement. We will retain client data for the period required by law and then securely delete it in accordance with our data retention policy.
